In 1997, VersaTube Building Systems brought innovation to the steel tube framing industry, inventing a machined process known as "swaging" that creates "Slip-Fit" frame connections, allowing the end of one steel frame component to easily fit into the end of another without the use of insert tubes, thus simplifying assembly and reducing construction time.
VersaTube Building Systems took the necessary steps to protect it's proprietary rights by successfully patenting this unique manufacturing process and building framing system with the United States Patent Office (No. 5,907,969 and No. 6,279,289).
